To be able to have a secure future where I did not have to worry about money when I retire.the best places to get a good return on my savings.

How has Harry Masson helped you?

He talk through all options after asking me my views on what type of risk as far as savings are concerned. He explained all options and gave advice that was clear and u was able to understand.

I do think he was professional andevelopment thorough.I don't belive that I could have asked for more.information felt comfortable and safe in his hands

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was about to take early retirement and wanted advice on the most appropriate balance between pension, lump sum and investments.

How has Harry Masson helped you?

I had an initial meeting with Harry and he talked through a number of options and gave an initial view of what he would recommend. He gave a clear indication at that first meeting of what his costs would be to put the arrangements in place.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, Harry made all the arrangements and provided a file showing a summary of our discussions, what sums I had where, what was going to happen and how the plan supported my stated aims. There were a couple of things which Harry was able to advise me on which I had not been aware of and so I feel I am definitely in a better financial position taking that advise than I would have been otherwise.

What could they have done better?

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Harry was our advisor whilst he worked for a major building society and when he became an independent advisor we ensured he continued to operate on our behalf. My husband and I have also recently retired so we received our pension lump sums and we needed to invest our money to produce a reasonable return in these unsettled times.

How has Harry Masson helped you?

Harry helps us to understand the implications of investment. He knows us well and we keep him informed of changes in our lives to enable Harry to suggest the best possible return. He is very calm and professional and isn't fazed by our questions when we do not fully understand an issue.

Yes everything recommended by Harry has brought about our confidence in his ability. He has never let us down and we trust him completely.

He completely reviewed my financial portfolio, recommended certain simplifying adjustments and proceeded to implement these at my request.

Definitely. Through a very unstable period my financial position has largely been upheld.

I find it difficult to think of any major adjustments Harry could have made to the way he has helped conduct my financial affairs. He is easy to talk to. Explains every decision or suggestion at length - perhaps sometimes at too great a length! Is always available and always upbeat and cheerful.

As I was coming up to Retirement age I needed advise regarding Final Salary pension with regards to the changes in the Government Regulations.

We receive a professional service in a friendly and supportive manner. Harry puts us completely at ease and is happy to repeat anything we do not understand fully. He is patient and explains each step of the way. Should we need any support outside of his visit to us he is always happy to answer any queries we may have. Nothing is too much trouble and he seeks to ensure our hard earned finance is placed where it will be to our benefit . He ensures that all our risks are identified and will only suggest a product if it meets our criteria.

Mr Masson is a very knowledgeable adviser who has an in depth knowledge of products on offer. He is very personable and approachable and easy it is easy to ask him questions and he responds in layman terms which are easy to understand. We have only done business with Mr Masson for a short while but he has clearly explained the fee structure we will be charged for his services and we feel that his charges are good value for money. Mr Masson understands our attitude to financial risk and offers advice as appropriate bearing in mind my husband has semi-retired and I will retire in a few years time. I would recommend Mr Masson to any body who is seeking financial advice.

What could they have done better?

I currently do not have any recommendations that I could offer Mr Masson. Maybe when we have known Mr Masson longer we will be able to comment what he could do better. Currently he is reactive and responsive. He returns my calls and as mentioned above responds to questions fully and in a manner a lay person can understand.
