Dave has made recommendations and has provided a financial plan that is tailored to my circumstances. He is currently assisting me in the setting up of investments/transfers etc. Dave is very knowlegeable and takes the time to explain the processes. To date he has provided sound advice on how to manage my finances/savings, he is very thorough and has answered all my queries. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Early retirement/ part time or voluntary working.

How has Dave Woollard helped you?

I had vague idea of my intentions after a works pension seminar. Had no idea of the complications and tax costs that could have been involved via tranfers and future investmens and withdrawals. Dave helped me no end and saved me so much on unnecessary tax payments. Tranfered various pensions I had taken out over the years. I could never have achieved this on my own. Explained in detail the process and all relevant cost n charges that would be involved.Invoted me to HIS home on occasions where this was more convenient. Many cups of tea drunk together over the recent few years while weve watched my pension and ISA investments grow.

Yes ,so far all going to my expectations or better.

What could they have done better?

Not taken so much sugar in their tea.

I found Dave to be very clear when explaining the procedures involved with my pension. He made it very easy to understand what my options were and I was able to make a decision without worrying. Ordinarily I would be baffled by this type of information and be very confused. I am happy to say that I would recommend Dave to anyone I know that needs financial advice.

I had a number of pensions that I needed to seek advice about, as I was coming up for retirement at the time. I was recommended HOYL by my accountant and David was the point of contact.

How has Dave Woollard helped you?

David has been invaluable in helping both myself and my wife in transferring our pensions. We didn't understand what was required and David made us feel at ease with the whole thing.

Yes, most definitely. I'm now drawing some of my pensions and know that David has kept us informed and up to date.

Personally, NO. Both my wife and I are very, very happy with David and his advice.

I had several pension pots and wanted to try and get them all together. But also make sure that this was the right thing to do.

Dave reviewed absolutely everything not just the pensions I had and made sure I had the right cover and information before proceeding. There was no pressure to do anything and Dave answered all the questions I had.

Everything is going really well. Dave meets up regularly to review everything with me and make sure I’m happy with everything. I have also just recently completed an ISA transfer and set up Regular savings due to the service I have received.

Running my own business I needed to ensure that I protected my family should anything happen. I also had a few old pensions that I wanted consolidating into a single pension and contributing to it through my company.

How has Dave Woollard helped you?

David quickly sorted out life insurance. He looked at each pension and advised which ones he would consolidate. His knowledge was outstanding and he didn't consolidate all pensions as one was ex-HM Forces and the other had good benefits attached.

Definitely. Up until Covid-19, when there was a sharp drop in global markets, I saw my pension increase by 20% approx

What could they have done better?

I'm not sure how he could do better. He has a wealth of experience and expertise, keeping abreast of current regulations and looking to do the best for his clients.

We were not happy with our bank manager's financial advice. Dave Woollard was already an adviser with a company we had investments with.

He offered options for investments that were more in line with the our ideas of how we wanted our money to grow .

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Currently our investments have not performed as well as we hoped but with the corvid 19 pendemic the market has been adversely affected. We do however expect some recovery of the losses we have incurred and some growth in the near future. We will continue to review the situation.

What could they have done better?

Given the current situation there is little more he could do. We would appreciate regular updates ( every six months) to keep us informed of how our finances are performing.

I needed someone to get my pensions into order as I had various small investments and company pensions in many locations

David came to see me at my home asked questions and listened to what my expectations were. He then took details of all my plans and went away to come up with a plan.

David came back to see me once they had a proposal. This was explained to me and David answered all my questions and concerns in a professional way and that I could understand. The plan was then altered to suit my requirements and re delivered in person once again went into great detail to make sure I would be happy with the plan.

I am not sure that there was anything more David could have done to provide the service I signed unto.
