A helpful and informative introductory meeting in relation to investments and trusts linked to our fathers move into a care home. Alan spent time carefully explaining a range of linked matters including the impact of geopolitical and economic issues on investments and the potential services offered by Lazenby's. Alan was professional and approachable.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We have had a financial advisor since we were married. We meet Alan circ 18 years ago, liked him and moved our funds to him.

How has Alan Lazenby helped you?

I believe we have been working with Alan for the last 18 years. Over the years Alan has balanced and grown our portfolios against our business interests to ensure we have a spread of risk across all our investments.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Alan has a keen eye and interest for world Geo Politics which has proved invaluable in his approach to investment strategy

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were looking for expert financial advice from a trusted source. Unlike the previous experience we had with investing, we were initially very cautious about handing over our savings.

How has Alan Lazenby helped you?

Alan has helped us to understand the risks and gains. He has explained fully how each investment works. The risk profile is very useful, it makes you think about what you are doing and what you are about to invest in. I was very cautious in the beginning, now my confidence has grown along with my better understanding. The graphs are good for me as I am very visual, figures on their own are less clear. Alan's attention to your needs is exemplary and to the detail of where your money is being invested.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We started investing a year ago with Alan and his team and the results are much better than expected. Looking forward to the next 12 months. We are confident that our money is in good hands.

What could they have done better?

Couldn't have done anything better for us this last year.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

After a failed investment elsewhere, we were looking for a professional who took the time to properly assess our needs and attitude to risk which Alan did meticulously. Alan really understood and this gave us confidence we were indeed with the right firm. Oh yes, and a distrust of banks in general.

How has Alan Lazenby helped you?

Alan has successfully mitigated our tax liabilities and over the year we have been with him we noted his attention to detail which he explained clearly throughout our meetings. Alan has a huge range of knowledge in the financial arena. We are certainly better informed now. The financial landscape can be confusing and quite a minefield.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes certainly, our investment has increased more than expected even in these difficult times. Very pleased.

What could they have done better?

Probably nothing. Alan and team look after us very well.
