What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had accumulated several small pensions that were not performing very well at all. I met Darron as much by chance, and he offered to show me if he could obtain me a more fruitful result on my pensions. He did this service for free to prove his integrity. This was about 16 years ago. I have not looked back since.

How has Darron Whitehead helped you?

Darron has managed my pension plans, he organised, and transferred them into different funds, which has brought me great benefits.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I am in the process of now drawing one of my now two pension pots, leaving the larger one to draw on at a later time.

What could they have done better?

As I see it, Darron really did do well for me.

From my first telephone exchange with Darron I felt comfortable with him. When we had our first meeting he had done a lot of preparation and had understood my situation and the outcome I wanted. After two more meetings, when I felt no pressure and Darron explained everything and answered all my questions, I felt happy to go ahead. I now have more peace of mind about my financial situation.

No but not Darrons fault. Drop in interesst rates meant a far less turnover especially after i withdrew some equity.

Explained more about the loss i made when withdrawing from the account. I didn't realise i would lose over £4000 by doing so.

Darron helped my with my personal pension and provided a flexible platform for me to invest in to build my portfolio for the the future. I can also access my fund to meet my individual pension requirements.

I had sold a property and the money was earning very little due to poor rates on the High Street. I am reasonably financially astute but just did not have the expertise to risk making poor investment choices, and why would I when someone else does. That is where Darron Whitehead came in.

How has Darron Whitehead helped you?

Darron was patient and explained things every step of the way and he is very flexible with appointments unlike so many others these days. This is enormously helpful when you are working full time.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I have invested with Darron for just over a year and what a year. Brevity, Covid...all and the challenges they gave the stock exchange. So, naturally I was delighted with a growth rate way above what I expected during the current economic climate.

What could they have done better?

Using the on line facilities was a challenge - my faulty as I did not log in withing the time limit etc to activate the account. Having said that, Darron and the team were quick to help and sort this out for me.
