What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We had been unable to find a mortgage to suit us in renovating our recently purchased house, in part due to our respective ages and the lockdown impact on our business.

How has Gerry Caley helped you?

I was first introduced to Gerry when I started a job in 1996, he assisted me in identifying the best mortgage deal available which enabled me to purchase my first property in London. He also introduced me to a Solicitor who assisted with the mortgage and finally when I became self-employed, an Accountant who also provided me with excellent advice. Since 1999 Gerry has assisted me in all my financial arrangements and I have always been provided with excellent solid financial advice, especially in 2004/2005 when I found myself drowning in debts run up on credit cards which caused me no end of sleepless nights. With Gerry’s help, advice and guidance, I was able to negotiate with all my debtors, clear the debts and finally get my credit rating back on track.

How has Gerry Caley helped you?

I have used Gerry Caley and GDA for the past few years to advise on the ever changing Pension and Investments industry. I have found Gerry and GDA to be very knowledgeable and current in these areas. After consulting with Gerry on my pensions and investments we agreed a strategy based on GerryÂ’s advice and my long term goals. GDA took care of all the administration with the result that my pension and savings are now invested across a wide variety of investments including tax efficient investments on a single platform. As well as updates from GDA I also have full transparency to the performance of my portfolio with an online portal. I have found the services offered by GDA to be very personalised and professional. How has Gerry Caley helped you?

I have used Gerry Caley both as an Independent Financial Advisor and Mortgage adviser and arranger for over 13 years. I initially consulted him quite by accident when a previous mortgage advisor had 'locked' me into an Endowment Mortgage just at the time when these were seen to be no longer financial viable. Gerry managed to re-mortgage me. Since that time I have used Gerry for mortgages, savings, pensions and general financial advice and have found him to offer a highly professional and personal service. He has also advised me on a range of other legal/financial matters such as Power of Attorney, Wills and Bequests. I have also recommended him to a great many friends and relatives who also have been very satisfied with the service he offers. He is a painstaking and diligent advisor always providing the relevant financial service to suit every need. These days my every financial direction is only ever undertaken after first consulting with Gerry.

It is not often that you find someone like Gerry whose manner, advice, service and professional conduct is first rate in every way possible. With respect I have no constructive suggestions as I am highly satisfied with Gerry as my IFA.
