I found my consultation with Tom extremely helpful. Tom quickly established what type of help I needed with my finances and what the cost of these services would be. I will definitely contact Tom again once I am in a position to proceed.

Not applicable as have been a client for decades

Tom has met with us twice and we have been extremely happy with his approach to helping us with our financial needs.

I hope so ?

What could they have done better?

I can’t think of anything that Tom could improve.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I have been a client of PS Financial Services and remain a client of Shackleton.

How has Thomas McConnell FPFS helped you?

He assisted in pension investment at the beginning of the year. More recently we had a meeting to discuss risk and pension investments.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I’m optimistic about the results so far still early to tell long term.

What could they have done better?

Probably had a meeting to discuss risk levels on investments earlier than we did.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Family Inheritance. Investment advice.

How has Thomas McConnell FPFS helped you?

He has carefully reviewed our existing investments. Has suggested changes, which we have adopted. He has advised on inheritance tax issues and how we could plan. Advised on tax issues to look out for and what records to keep.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We are now more alert to gifting and tax mitigation. There have been some recent changes to our investments, so it is too soon to judge outcome.

What could they have done better?

We are all for reducing the amount of paper! However we had difficulty signing recent documents online. We also printed out a hard copy of 'The Review' so that we could both read it at our leisure [there are a lot of pages!]. The 'summary' of our total investments is not as clear as summaries produced in the past.

Just started meeting with our adviser, Tom McConnell so these are my initial impressions. The first meeting was positive and some sound and suefual advice given upon which to establish a good foundation on which to progess. I anticipate this will grow with asinteraction increases.
