Wanted someone with expertise in investing savings and funds for the long term and who would take account of present circumstances and needs

James has helped us to invest in a portfolio that we are comfortable with, in an ethical way, and with the level of risk we're prepared to take. He has also reassured us when necessary.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Over the years, the returns in the portfolio has been very satisfactory. We rely on the expertise of James and his company, using their skills to attain these returns.
What could they have done better?
I'm not sure they could.

I have had an advisor for many years. Shackleton have recently acquired my previous advisor company.
How has James Porter helped you?
Suggest long term changes to my exposure in certain geographical areas. This was a new strategy for me. Discussed risk and also pension forecast and income.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Not yet - too early to say. First meeting in January 2026
