Paul was excellent, providing me with very clear and professional guidance in relation to my upcoming retirement. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Financial regulations in the UK meant that I had to get advice from a FCA registered Advisor before I could proceed with my Pension. Having been knocked back by 33 financial advising firms Paul and his team took on my account and delivered everything that was promised.

How has Paul Spencer-Nixon helped you?

Having struggled to find a Financial Advisor to help with my problem from Australia. I came across Fingerprint. They helped sort out the difficulties I was encountering in a professional manner and made the task trouble free. I would strongly recommend Paul and his team and will be doing so from Oz to any expat here. Once again thank you for all your help.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was hoping to buy some agricultural land. The plan was to fund this through a transfer of my workplace pension into a SIPP. This required a transfer to a SIPP, and a potential remortgage on a difficult to mortgage residential property.

How has Paul Spencer-Nixon helped you?

Paul helped me verify the plan. He challenged my assumptions, found the most competitve SIPP and managed to find a mortgage company willing to lend on the property. Paul was always on hand to support when required.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Paul first helped me to organise a mortgage on an inherited property that needed extensive renovation. He most recently helped my mother re-mortgage her investment property.

How has Paul Spencer-Nixon helped you?

Paul advised me on the timing of the application, the factors lenders would take into consideration and had specific experience of my situation. He took time to ask the relevant questions and was professional throughout. Paul and Sam go out of their way to provide a tailored and highly professional service. Sincere and very quick to respond. I have used FFP a number of times over the last 6 years or so and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

On all occasions I have achieved what I needed. Paul kept me up-to-date throughout the process and when a problem arose he was quick to suggest alternatives approaches.

What could they have done better?

Perhaps a structured weekly email on progress for longer term projects.

Paul and Harriet worked on my buy to let mortgage and my residential mortgage. It was complicated, painful, lengthy and they were brilliant! They did all of the chasing for me, advised me on what was happening, took as much of the pain from me as possible, and we finally did it! This is the second time I have used them now and I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.

Personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable, I would strongly recommend Fingerprint Financial Planning to all. Having benefited from their expertise a couple of times now, I find their service to be of great benefit and value. Helpful and approachable, they always outline processes and options very clearly, patiently answering any queries that I might have. Formerly specialist pension advice needed re a potential transfer, this followed a change in circumstances workwise. Latterly inheritance advice.

How has Paul Spencer-Nixon helped you?

Life changing, literally! Having approached a number of advisors I was told the advice I required was too complex and not without risk. I basically wished to transfer a with benefits final salary pension lump sum into an existing ongoing larger pension pot. Thus allowing me to take semi retirement with immediate effect. Fingerprint not only took this on for me, they went over and above. Continually keeping my wife and I updated re developments. As a consequence I can look forward to providing some real security for my family in the future. He continues to offer inheritance and will advice. This company has the feel of a larger company yet maintains the personal touch. Entirely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. A first rate service.

We wanted more from our Equity, but the Surveyor undervalued our property, which was nothing to do with Paul Spencer-Nixon, his advise was fine
