The dealing with Financial and Inheritance Planning for my wife and I, has been held up (no fault of Gary Fulcher) due to the backlog and slowness of the Land Registry Office to register existing land with a property already built on it. I am told by my solicitor this could take 12 months or more. This means the earliest Gary will be able to deal with it will be January 2024. The Power of Attorney for my wife and I has been completed to our satisfaction, with no hiccups from third parties.

Having left HSBC with a small pension, and having a Final Salary Scheme with Lloyds, I wanted to consider my options with combining the two and look at the projections for transferring away with the flexibility that is now available in the pension market

Gary guided me through the procedure of getting the information required so that a full comparison could be undertaken. He created lengthy analysis, covering off all my requirements for future spending in retirement and we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of all the options that I had available. Gary was also able to call on colleague expertise to corroborate his information and carry out an independent sense check.

Yes absolutely more than happy with the result and the timescales involved

What could they have done better?

He kept me up to date with all proceedings, informing me what paperwork would be received and what all the reports meant, and managed my expectations really well. I did find some of the factual analysis a bit overwhelming, but that isn't Gary's fault, I guess that is the industry as a whole and the compliance that is required with a decision of this kind.

We wanted to write our Wills, and also invest some money we had saved, in addition we wanted to look at various Pensions and consolidate these if appropriate.

He also went over our attitude to risk and we filled in the appropriate questionnaires to determine this. We had many meetings and everything was fully explained. This was an initial chat just for fact-finding purposes. I was looking for advice with regard to a mortgage renewal on my property, and advice on investments. In particular whether borrow more, pay off some of the mortgage or keep it as is.

Reached the age of 55, had a pension that had kicked in, significant change to financial circumstances, so needed advice. First looked at Martin's Money Tips which recommended vouchedfor and I found him from through them.

I had 4 pensions with 4 different pension providers and therefore I needed to understand the best way I could manage my financial planning and to get the best investment advise and understand all the risks involved. The existing plans had not been reviewed for many years and needed a lot of work to bring them altogether and this is where Gary's came in and gave me sound advise in order to maximise my potential capital growth.

Yes, Gary has managed to secure a larger transfer value of 2 of my larger pensions and he is currently working on the others to bring them into 1 pension.

Nothing I don't think, I was happy with his advise and recommendations Gary made. I am aware of the different range of investment products, some carry high risks, however I feel the balance is correct and hopefully with Gary's advise over the coming years, my pension pot will grow giving me a good retirement pot?
