Death of a parent forced me to make plans for my future. I had tried finding a pension on my own but I soon floundered.

She listened to my requirements, made plans that were flexible to account for future changes in circumstances and set everything up for me.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My existing investments/portfolio were managed well by my previous provider, but from a considerable geographical distance. My reason was to receive advice on a more personal level.

Nicole very competently took care of all aspects of the transfer, allowing me to feel completely assured of her capabilities.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were dissatisfied with our previous Financial Adviser because of lack of contact and not particularly good advice. Nicole was recommended to us by someone who had been a client for sometime and were very satisfied with advice and contact.

How has Nicole Martin helped you?

From the initial meeting when we gave Nicole details of our finances, she clearly set out her recommendations for our investments and checked out our current pension arrangements. Subsequently, we have re-invested with a different provider; but our pension remains unchanged as there was no benefit to change.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

As the new investment is relatively recent, we are just beginning to see growth. However, we are confident that this will continue. The new provider has a good website and provides easy access to our finances and we can check on progress at any time. Our previous provider did not give internet access to our policy so we had to telephone to get an update.

What could they have done better?

Nicole has done an excellent job for us with everything clearly set out. We now hope that the investment with the new provider sees good growth.

Unable to understand fully today's complex legislation and regulations with regard to taxation and investments/savings.. Recognised a need for professional help, advice and guidance.

How has Nicole Martin helped you?

My husband died in 2009 . He had always taken care of our finances. Nicole immediately offered help with all aspects of winding up his affairs, probate, liaising with solicitors and accountants and gave me unconditional support and advice. She now has total responsibility for all my investments/portfolio and properties. Nicole gives me regular statements with visits explaining complicated taxation and regulatory details. Always available when needed.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The last statement showed steady growth with the investment portfolio despite the economic downturns nationally and globally. I know Nicole regularly updates her knowledge and expertise by attending Seminars and Courses and she constantly monitors the portfolio making adjustments as necessary.

What could they have done better?

There are no grey areas. I am totally satisfied with the professional care, guidance, advice and consideration Nicole gives to me on a 24/7 basis. I would, and do, recommend her professional services to family and friends. I am delighted to be able to endorse her suitability as an IFA and have no hesitation in giving this recommendation.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I required expert advice on Pensions I was due to receive as I had now reached the age of sixty five as I felt that I needed this for making the correct decisions for myself.

How has Nicole Martin helped you?

Nicole gave excellent advice being very thorough throughout. I felt that she was very knowledgeable on all the subjects that was put forward also, showing her interest with charm making decisions for me a far more easier task. Her advice with regards for me to seek further advice re an Annuity decision, due to the size of the Pension figures, was an important factor that I felt is something which I gratefully appreciated. I more than appreciated her visit to my home bringing with her important forms that had to be signed and be put in the post that day so that I didnt miss out on a completion date issued by the Pension group.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Dealing with your Pension is something that I felt I could not really handle myself and in answer to your question, I feel that I am now totally satisfied with the total outcome and the way it has been handled from start to finish. Everything is now " in motion " to my complete satisfaction. I cannot really add any more to this.

I feel that Nicole is an excellent Financial adviser and, certainly showed her interest right from the word " go " when handling my situation.

There is a fine line between too much information and too ittle. The updates are good and the use of the WRAP software very useful. A fem more personal briefings would be useful
