About
Hi, I’m Chris Revill. I’m a financial planner at Francis Clark Financial Planning, based in our Truro office. I joined the team in 2022, having spent more than 15 years working in financial services across a range of roles in London and the south-west. I help clients with all aspects of financial planning, including inheritance and succession planning, retirement planning and investment planning. I have advised clients in a wide range of circumstances, with particular experience supporting those who have businesses in the agricultural sector. Providing clients with a sense of financial security is central to my work. I take a long-term view, helping clients prepare for different eventualities and protect themselves from financial challenges that may arise, whether due to personal circumstances or wider economic factors. I’m also comfortable helping new clients understand their options when unexpected situations arise. Outside work, I have four children who keep me very busy. I’m heavily involved in their sporting lives, sharing hobbies such as cricket and helping to coach the local boys’ football team. I used to play semi-professional football and still play for St Mawgan in Cornwall. When time allows, I’m also working towards Chartered financial planner status. In 2002, the board of Francis Clark had a realisation. The traditional back-and-forth between separate accountants and financial advisers serves no-one. So they founded a new company, giving clients a more joined-up approach – and Francis Clark Financial Planning was born. Our clients loved the idea, and the subsidiary company grew and grew. What started as a team of four in Newton Abbot has become a 60-strong, Chartered financial planning team, in nine locations across the south and west of England. The premise is simple. Getting your financial planning and tax advice in one place gives you a single, coherent view of your finances. Your plans are considered from every angle, and we’ll happily work in partnership with your legal advisors. No repeating yourself, no miscommunication. And we can be certain you’ll get the same high standards of customer service, every time. It also means we’re free to do things differently. For instance, we build long-term relationships, so we can take a lifetime financial planning approach. Forecasting and optimising your whole future, not just selling investment products. And we keep our investment committee separate – so your financial planner is only focused on you. From our first conversation, we think you’ll understand why it works so well.
