My salary started to increase significantly and I received higher volumes of shares in my employing company which meant I had more excess income available to invest.

How has Simon Beazley helped you?

I was very new to investment planning when I first met Simon. He helped me understand all the different investment options available to me and what options would best suit my circumstances and long term goals. He’s very clear and patient in explaining these different options and the relevant tax implications. He’s always available at short notice to implement changes when my circumstances or tax position has changed. I find Simon very easy to work with and have been very happy with the service he has provided.

Yes I’m now seeing the growth in my investments I was hoping for.

What could they have done better?

Only suggestion is because I have a terrible memory so I easily forget what we last discussed so sometimes I may need Simon to remind me of the key points of a certain option as I’ve probably forgotten!

Simon "inherited" my portfolio as I had been paying into a private pension pot all my professional life.

How has Simon Beazley helped you?

After multiple years of paying in to various pension pots, I am not sure if I ever had an exchange with Simon's predecessor. All that changed with Simon. First of all, he helped me make sense of the "big mess" that was created by having worked at multiple companies and therefore contributed to multiple pots. Now that things are far more simple, Simon keeps in regular contact and we catch up multiple times a year. He is very good at making sure that he is kept informed of my personal circumstances and his advice always feels like it is very much bespoke to me, rather than a hidden agenda for his or his company's benefit. He's been very supportive in my endeavours and is now also helping with building my children's portfolios.

Absolutely. Because he takes time to understand my circumstances, the advice is always on point, and therefore so is the delivery.

Simplified existing pension arrangements and identified potential financials at retirement. This enabled me to have a realistic plan as to when i might be able to retire. Also, where to channel spare cash to increase investment return.

No financial outcome yet, but the current situation is things are improved from where they would have been if I had remained with current pension arrangements. So outcome so far has been achieved.

What could they have done better?

Whilst it's a sign of the times - "Docusign" seems a bit odd in that it asks for a signature which - when trying to replicate on a screen is usually nowhere near to a genuine signature. Appreciate it will take longer, but a signature in the post seems more authentic - although i suspect a returned hard copy signature wouldn't be checked against an original

Our pensions were scattered, we didn't have life insurance or a clear plan, and it was time to bring some order to our finances.

How has Simon Beazley helped you?

Simon gave us excellent advice on how to better organise our pensions, as well as directing us to trusted providers of life insurance and wills services. He took the time to understand our contexts and ambitions and put together a strategy that ensures we get to where we want to be. Simon was excellent in taking care of all the hoops and bureaucracy required for re-organising our pensions as well as children's ISA and CTF accounts. His team were there every step of the way with quick response and effective tracking of the processes. There is no way I would have managed this re-calibration of our finances without Simon's support.

Absolutely. We now have pensions in better managed funds that are better aligned with our goals. We also have the right insurance, wills, trusts and children's savings accounts set up. And we know we can go to Simon whenever we have questions or want to make adjustments.
