My current mortgage lender (Scot Wids) said i'd have to arrange my product switch through an independent mortgage broker - they recommended theirs, but after questioning them, they said we could use our own - prospect tree.

Sorted the mortgage product to reduce our SV interest by over 50% at the time!! This has saved us a fortune, Prospect tree received a fee from Scot wids which covered the cost, costing us nothing, we are free to switch again after the 2 year fixed is up.
