We were first time buyers looking for a mortgage. Due to Covid the market was extremely difficult to navigate and we felt we needed advice.

How has Ian Moore helped you?

I've used Ian to get two mortgages now and each time his service has been Excellent. The first mortgage that Ian sourced for me was a lifetime tracker mortgage which has proved to be so cheap I will never change it, I've not seen a better deal since. The 2nd mortage that Ian sorted for me was when I bought a 2nd home using my first home on a 'let to buy basis.' With no real deposit as such, it was by no means easy to secure a 2nd mortgage but Ian really persevered and did manage to find a lender that said Yes and so, I'm very grateful to him. He's always prompt, courteous and knows his products.

What could they have done better?

There's nothing that springs to mind, Ian was always quick and efficient.

After having a nightmare 4 months trying to get a further mortgage sorted with my existing lender (dont ask) I had Ian Moore recommended to us by our accountant. My details were passed to him, he rang the same day and 48 hours later i basically had a mortgage! Fast, thorough, rings when he says he will ring, very knowledgable and unbelievably inexpensive. I would have complete and total confidence recommending Ian to any future applicant..

I have used Ian Moore for three mortgage products, two Buy-to-Let and one Offset mortgage. I found Ian very helpful, very pro-active with good advise regarding the product options available. In particular he gave me a very detailed illustration for the Offset mortgage. Further, due to my work commitments Ian was very flexible in seeing me outside of traditional office hours. I plan to use Ian again in the future.

The personal service is second to none and I really can't find any constructive advise to offer.

We used Ian Moore to obtain our first mortgage and attached insurances. Found him to be very thorough and honest in obtaining all the necessary information from us to enable him to look for the best / affordable product for . He explained procedures and kept us updated re progress. Anything we did not understand he took time to explain in 'layman terms' so we completely understood details of the products being offered and buying. Ian was very upfront about any charges and timescales. We are definitely going to use him when our two year fixed rate is up for review
