What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Virgin money Clydesdale bank could not assist in any of requirements - my personal banking manager put me in touch with Rob and it was a breath of fresh air. Rob was diligent polite and suggested various options one of which we pursued to a n acceptable conclusion. I have since passed on Robs details to other colleagues and they have had very positive outcomes.

We had spoken with another broker who said we have very limited options, we pursued the only option he had presented us with and we ultimately got rejected by the lender

Rob helped us with our whole mortgage application in ensuring it went as smoothly as possible and when we had our mortgage offer, not even 1 week later Rob helped us with the terms and conditions of our offer to ensure we were making an informed agreement especially as the terminology used can be difficult to understand when not working in that field.

Yes. We got our mortgage in principle within around 30 minutes for the first stage and when we got our offer accepted on a home, Rob arranged an appointment with us straight away to get the mortgage application completed and we received all of this within 1 week.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Our 2 year fixed mortgage was coming to an end and we needed to renew our mortgage to either a 2 or 5 year fixed.

How has Robert Timm helped you?

Rob helped us find a new 2 year fixed mortgage after we presented him with a few options we wanted to explore. We wanted to see if a 5 year fixed would be a better fit for us but ended up going for a 2 year fixed as the interest rate was better. Rob also reviewed my life insurance and was able to adjust my plan which offered a lot more.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. We got a great deal with our current mortgage provider which included cash back which we used for the house.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. Very professional from start to finish. Answered all of our questions in depth and explored everything and more we asked him for.
