What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was with different broker which said that I had no chance to get mortgage with high street bank. I was very upset and spoke to one of my friends which she recommended Sian, firstly I wasn’t sure if I should change my broker as I thought I’m dealing with one of best. Thank God I’ve listened to my friend and contacted Sian she got me deal with High Street bank and saved me around £600-£700 per month on my mortgage plus got me fix rate for 2 years instead of 5 which other broker was saying that I will only be able to get that. I can only say Sian saved me thousands of pounds! She is the best, very supportive not only as a broker she is genuinely nice person who creates bond with her clients, my mortgage application was stress free ever since she took over! Thank You Sian you are the best and your service it’s worth every penny! I can’t thank you enough! We got our keys just before Christmas, which was 8 weeks since she took over. I will always be back to you for my remortgage and if I will want to change my property. ❤️

Outcome was so much better than I expected.

She got me deal with High Street bank which I was told I can’t get it, I was just about to accept 5 years fix with secondary lenders which would mean I would overpay £600-£700 per month so many years.

What could they have done better?

Everything was done perfect there is nothing else she would have to improve. Deal was so much better then others gave me, communication was very smooth and on top of that she was supporting me mentally as after previous broker I had anxiety. This Girl it’s a gem ? for company!

With a mortgage still tied up due to a previous relationship it became tricky to find the right and best mortgage.

Absolutely, Sian has been extremely helpful throughout. You don’t even have to contact Sian each time the mortgage is up for renewal, Sian contacts you with the best deal and keeps an eye on it throughout

Sian is so knowledgeable and has always alerted me to changes in the mortgage rates i had no idea you could look for another rate 6 months before it ended and you could provisionally secure the rate and change it right upto the date the fixed term ends. She's amazing and so friendly i would thoroughly recommend Sian. Fantantasic company and thankyou xx

Yes the interest rates have kept rising and with Sian's help she has secured me a better rate as my fixed rate ends in December.

No. Unless Sian could have found a better deal. Which is now highly unlikely

My fixed mortgage is coming to an end and Sian has always notified me of my choices and has helped me lock in a reserved new rate so i have flexibilty if the rates lower before november 2023.

Yes i was given different rates and terms to consider even though its much higher due to the Interest Rate Rises.

She Flagged up to me that is was possible to Reserve a rate before the end of my fixed term mortgage ending i was unaware i was able to reserve a rate until it ran out and the way the Interest rates keep rising it was a fabulous option.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Unfortunately we took a risk on a business 5 years ago which did not turn out and it cost us a lot of money and ultimately our home. As a result of being unable to make mortgage payments for 6 months, the banks saw us as high risk customers and we were unable to get a good mortgage offer. This was further complicated as I was self employed.

How has Sian Hewson helped you?

Sian did a lot of work to find the best possible options and was very reassuring yet candid in her advice. She also helped us to find suitable life and employment insurance.

Yes, we have been able to buy a house and are now, finally moving in, albeit much of the recent delay has been caused by COVID.
