How has Roland Jones helped you?

He prepares well for our review meetings and always allows plenty of time for a full discussion of our affairs and explanations of relevant new developments/legislation. He always deals with our affairs and any queries which may arise during the year promptly and efficiently. We also very much appreciate and value the regular investment updates from Ian Brady.

What could they have done better?

We are very pleased with all aspects of the service we receive.

How has Roland Jones helped you?

He ascertains my specific investment and pension needs, fully informs himself about my resources and commitments and then comes up with a fully researched strategy to deliver a satisfactory and tax efficient solution. There is little more that one could want from such a professional adviser and he provides the reassurance of not only his own speciific areas of expertise but also of that of the whole Oaktree management on which he draws to ensure the best possible advice.

How has Roland Jones helped you?

Roland has been coming to our home for four years. We always look forward to his visit on a personal level as well as the business aspect of the visit. We have always trusted Roland's advice as we feel that he is well informed on all aspects of the economy at any one time, and gives us an overview of Oaktree's current policies for investment. He is certainly enthusiastic on a professional level and an excellent ambassador for Oaktree. Additionally. Oaktree keep us well informed by way of their quarterly reports and e-mails during any financial crisis!

As a retired Independent Financial Adviser I am more than aware of what I need in terms of overall financial advice and thus equally aware of what should be available to me. My experience of Oak Tree has demonstrated that all my requirements are fully met by them in that they have technical expertise, an admirable and enviable investment track record and are always up to speed in the crucial elements of financial advice. In addition they give a first class service which is both on an individual, personal basis as well as on a generic one. How has Roland Jones helped you?

Roland has been my IFA since 1994--sufficient recommendation in itself--during which time has mentored and supervised all matters relating to my pension fund. Although I retired in 2000 Roland continues to provide all the support I need in managing my funds. During the years since 2000 he has taken on responsibility for advising and managing the separate pension funds of my wife and daughter, both of whom are completely happy with Roland's advice, efficiency and tireless attention to ensuring that all actions are fully understood and agreed. When Roland changed employer about a year and a half ago we had no hesitation in following him. We remain very happy with the relationship. The value gained from the relationship with Roland Jones is impossible to calculate but, sufficient to say, I have no areas of dissatisfaction with my time working with Roland.

How has Roland Jones helped you?

I completely trust him. He's clear in assessing the level of risk I want to adopt, in advising on my current position and the options available, and in explaining his reasons for his advice on the best way forward. I have been using him for many years, and trust him so much that he is now also advising my wife, my 2 children, my mother and also acted (until her death) for my aunt! There's no one else in my direct family he could act for, but if there were I'd recommend him to them!! I would not have had the knowledge to make sound decisions on the type and range of investment decisions that are called for: Roland has supplied this, and peace of mind that we are taking the best way forward.
