How has Ian Thomas helped you?

I cannot recommend Ian's services strongly enough. Ian scheduled a series of carefully planned meetings with my wife and I over which time he diligently gathered information about our current situation and listened carefully to our aspirations for the future. He then used a combination of brains and clever software to produce a 'balance sheet' for our lives that we could easily model for different future scenarios. The outcome of this was a much better understanding of our situation and an ability for us to make informed investment decisions. We are now in the process of working with Ian to implement a new investment strategy which matches our propensity for risk with our life plan. Moving forward, Ian's service also involves regular MOT's as circumstances and plans change. Thanks to Ian we now feel much more in control. His services are highly recommended.

One of Ian's strengths is that he is a good listener, which means that the advice and financial plans that have been drawn up for us dovetail well with our plans for the future; we do not get the feeling that we are being herded down a convenient financial cul-de-sac, rather more guided towards tailor-made solutions for our situation. We have never felt under any pressure to buy any particulr financial product, and the financial advice has always been fully explained, with the charging and fee structure in clear view. After the first couple of meetings we agreed to a financial review with Ian, which proved to be money very well spent as it highlighted a number of areas that needed urgent attention with financial specialists; fortunately, the contacts that Ian provided us with were able to successfully address the problems and quickly provided solutions. Without Ian's financial review we would still be in the dark, building up some fairly weighty financial headaches for the future. In summary, I would have no hesitation in recommending Ian. Friendly, professional, and clearly knows what he is talking about; I wish him every success with his new business.

I was introduced to Ian Thomas by a business associate who has joined with Ian in offering a comprehensive financial/pension/tax planning service focused on, among other sectors, the education sector and the particular problems faced by teachers/heads who receive promotions, related higher incomes, and then face difficult pension and pension accrual tax problems--particularly in light of the increasingly reduced allowances available, as well as the complex ways in which final salary scheme calculations are undertaken. Ian has demonstrated a pro-active approach to tackling and understanding the very complex issues and then describing available options available to employees. This has all been done with great thoroughness and understanding, and with explanations which are easy to follow and understand. I would enthusiastically recommend Ian to others.
