In the shared discussion with an annuity provider, Chris knew the important questions to ask, and seemed to have a better understanding of the product than the provider did. Chris seemed much more interested in giving me useful advice than about any possible fee!.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, pretty much. Financial Ombudsman organised some compensation for misselling by another IFA.

How has Chris O'Meara helped you?

As someone who doesn't understand easily, the workings of financial issues, I found that Chris O'Meara was very patient with me. Taking time to explain things clearly and at times more than once if i was becoming confused. He makes me feel safe and secure in my financial dealings which means alot to me suddenly finding myself having to deal with large amounts of money owing to the death of my husband. Chris and his company have been sympathetic and a real support to me in these very stressful last couple of years. It has been a learning curve for me and probably for Chris as he has had to start from real basics with me. Well done for keeping cool is all I can say.

What could they have done better?

Just carry on being patient and remember not everyone with money is a financial whizz but we are capable of learning.

Can't really find fault, has always successfully done what he said he would, given sound advice, always polite and prompt. What could he do better? Not a lot to be frank. He explains everything very clearly which was important to someone like me who isn't too quick when it comes to finances, I also found him very patient when I was unsure of certain things, I have recommended to friends of mine in similar circumstances to mine, he makes a good cup of coffee as well.

I was looking for help with various areas of financial planning but with so many companies to choose from I really didn't know where to begin. A friend recommended Lifestyle financial services as he had used them himself and was very impressed with not just the products, but also the general attitude of the company Director Mr Chris O'Meara and his employees. I have now used Lifestyle on numerous occasions for Mortgages, Pensions, Investments and even house insurance and have always felt that the advice and products I have been given were the best for my particular circumstances. I will continue to use Lifestyle in the future for any further financial planning and would be very happy to recommend them to friends and family. The coffee is first class too.

What could they have done better?

I found Lifestyle to be faultless with the service they offer, but would maybe suggest they offer a biscuit with each cup of coffee, not just the first! Great company to deal with. Thank you.

Chris apart from being a good adviser is a gentleman & always has time for you & makes you most welcome however busy he is. I have known him for over 10yrs & he has never changed. So far his advice has always benefited me financially.
