Clear and concise summaries of investments, risks and performance. Listens actively to my priorities and responds quickly and flexibly with appropriate suggestions. Takes the time to discuss related regulations, macro-economic trends etc. Proactive and fixes glitches (which have only ever been minor) quickly and without fuss.

Online access to summaries would cut down on the paperwork.

Alex takes the time to understand your individual requirements and gives perfectly tailored advice. He went above and beyond in helping me rationalise and optimise my (very messy) pension portfolio. He also assisted me with a life insurance policy after I had received advice from another advisor, overselling me expensive and complicated options to the point that I gave up on arranging one altogether. Alex listened and understood exactly what I needed from my life insurance policy, and then arranged an extremely cost-effective, simple policy for me.

Alex is approachable and easy to talk to. He listens to what I am saying and considers my requirements. He does not patronise, even when explaining something for the 5th or 6th time. I honestly cannot think of anything that would be an obvious improvement. He is friendly and easy to talk to so no improvement required there. Amiable and interested in us as a couple and not just the investments we make- no improvement required there. Always available for advice and is always on time when visiting. So no improvements

Being 250 miles away from Alex, I thought would have been a problem, but because he is excellent and timely at coming back to me, along with taking the time to explain things clearly, this has never been a problem.
