We are at a an early stage, but everything is progressing nicley and we have full transparency.

Maybe a quicker paperwork turnaround, but that is from the 3rd parties and not Tim.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My father needed advice on pensions due to the recent govt changes. He needed an independent advisor to explain the changes and options.

How has Tim Rodgers helped you?

Tim was a great advisor very polite and patient in explaining, jargon-free, the new pension options open to my father. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for pension advice.

My father is still weighing up his options and getting the relevant paperwork sorted. The appointment with tim rodgers was better than we were expecting, very helpful advisor. Thank you.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Partner and I are in our mid 50s and wanted to understand our pension position and if necessary take steps to plan appropriately for our retirement with a view to (hopefully) retiring at 65, before we are eligible for the state pension.

How has Tim Rodgers helped you?

Firstly he very much put us at ease. He helped us to consider and arrive at a figure that we believed we would require at retirement. He then reviewed the various bits of pensions we had from the documents we had brought with us and advised us appropriately. Basically for no fee whatsoever, we identified that we did not need to do anything at this moment. However, we have identified someone we are very confident about using in the future.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The outcome has been beyond our expectations as we now know we don't need to do anything and to learn this was free of charge.

What could they have done better?

Tim could not have done anything more that would have improved our experience at the meeting, nor the valuable advice received. It was all just perfect, even down to being able to park right outside.

Tim got in-touch very quickly and arranged an initial meeting. At our initial meeting Tim came over as being very knowledgeable on the topics we discussed and approached each topic in a professional manner. Within a couple of days I received a brief but concise summary of our meeting.

Having recently set up my own company with a fellow director I asked Tim to look at tax efficient planning and options for our company.

How has Tim Rodgers helped you?

Tim reviewed our requirements and recomended Pension plans, Shareholder protection and Private medical Insurance for us both. He also helped us understand the new Auto Enrolment Pension requirements.

Before arranging the initial meeting I never had any 'set outcomes' in my mind. I wanted generic advice applicable to me in the role as company director. Having received Tims recommendations I am very pleased with his understanding of our situation and the outcome.

Aegon refused to pay a pension policy as a lump sum. I had to look for an IFA to deal with them.

How has Tim Rodgers helped you?

He contacted Aegon three times and then reviewed some of the plan that was sent to him in a secure email.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

No. Tim advised me to take the pension plan as it was originaly set up, becuase of the generous annual increases and money that will be paid.
