What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had multiple pensions from many employers which were taking a substantial amount of time to keep track off and to manage the choice of investment funds to use. Their performance was not optimal and during some of the years they dropped in value. I also had cash isa investments that started off reasonable and then eventually only returned 0.01% which for all intents and purposes was zero.

How has Pietro Garritano helped you?

He assessed where I was at with all the pensions and assessed where I was at with lifestyle and attitude to risk and understood my objectives. He selected a more appropriate spread of investments and then moved all the pensions across by dealing with each of the providers.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Keeping track is more straightforward and to date the investments have more than recovered from the COVID effect and are currently outperforming the costs plus the rate of inflation. I am certain that they will manage any BREXIT effect in a similar way to how they have managed the past 9 months.

What could they have done better?

Given that I would not change anything if I were to go through the experience again, I am struggling to think of any constructive suggestions.

Needed advice on my pension planning and taking early retirement via a sipp. Needed advice on moving funds from a defined benefit scheme.

Pietro was truly excellent with his advice and recommendations. Whilst we have known him for over 20 years, he was practical , objective and very precise with his recommendations as well as what the process would involve. Pietro offers regular appointments but Is generally easy to get hold of outside of these. He seems to be well aware of one's needs and where to look to try and meet them. His easy - going nature tends to put you at your ease when discussing - often - difficult matters.

Investments for pensions are suggested by Eden via managed funds which is ok if you want this option as I did as opposed to a personal / self investment pension where you manage your own funds with advice from your IFA. I think Eden offer this service too ?

Pietro has an excellent understanding of my financial requirements. His research into products and their suitability of the product is excellent. No one can predict the exact performance of funds or volatility of the financial markets but to date his advise has been excellent and I have been very pleased with my funds performance. Pietro also takes the time to LISTEN, a quality not often seen in financial advisers. This means when he is assessing your actual needs, rather than your perceived requirements, he is able to clearly show how by taking a recommended action it is the right way forward for you - taking into account your specified goals. One other nice quality Pietro has, is he always remembers details you have told him in general conversation, and will ask for instance how a family member is . This makes me feel that he has listened and that he CARES.

What could they have done better?

Sometimes Pietro talks too fast ! He needs to sometimes remember to slow down. Being Italian, he gets very passionate about things - he is passionate about his advise. I would highly recommend Pietro - you will go a long way to find better!
