How has Gavin Hughes helped you?

Gavin was helpful, informative, friendly and supportive throughout the process of my mortgage. I needed a loan to take my property over into my sole name following divorce. Gavin listened to my requirements and found me exactly the right products. He also helped me through the paperwork for the property transfer. This was my first experience using a financial advisor and I couldn't have been happier. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gavin 100%!

How has Gavin Hughes helped you?

What has been incredibly helpful is that Gavin gives a personalisecd service and genuinely makes you feel like you are his number one priority. I am always kept up to date on his own accord with no prompting from myself. As a Part time investor (and full time doctor )have been using mortgage brokers for some time now. I have found that the biggest issue is constantly having to chase up the progress of mortgage applications,which is often tedious, arduous and can be fruitless at times. gavin on the other hand keeps me up to date with emails and texts on weekends and in the evenings. Furthermore what really drew me to his service was that he was very honest and open. When i approached him to find a mortgage i explained that i was also seeking the help of another broker. Both of them came back to me and the second broker seemed to offer a better interest rate. Gavin very helpful and honstly said that i should go with them as despite ringing around, scouring the internet and looking on his 'all of market' database he could not find a deal to match. He did give me some advice which was to clarify mortgage details with the new broker. Needless to say the other broker unfortunately had overlooked some details and had mistakenly found an unviable mortgage product. Thanks to Gavin i was saved from unnecessary fees and wasted time on a project that needed a swift turnaround. I would definteily recommend Gavin as a mortgage broker.

What could they have done better?

To be perfectly honest there really isnt much more i can ask froma broker. He is fast, efficient and meticulous with detail.

Full marks to Gavin, he helped through every step of setting up my Mortage. To be honest I think Gavin did more than he was paid for, he gave me the Mortage I needed at a cost that suited my buget. He got back to me every time I had a problem and ensured it was sorted even when it wasn't part of his remit. I would recommend this advisor to anyone, he paid attention to detail and made sure my Mortage went through in just over 6 weeks which was amazing considering the complexity of my situation. What more can I say, he is just very good at his job and honest. An excellent advisor and thanks for everything.

When I first contacted Gavin I found his manner very reassuring as his personality was very professional but friendly and he seemed genuinely interested and helpful. He's very easy to talk to and took time to make sure I was fully aware of all the options available to me, his patience is impeccable and time was not an issue. His knowledge is vast therefore I felt I was receiving the best good advice, he was able to answer all my enquiries without hesitation.

Our advisor Gavin was very efficient all the way through the process, he advised us of all the different services available. We discussed in detail our personal circumstances so we could decide the right product for us. I have been entirely impressed by the diligence of Gavin Hughes. Every phone call was made on time and each piece of information was explained with clarity and professionalism. This was a first mortgage for me and although I may have been daunted by the task in front of me before speaking to Gavin , he soon put my mind to rest and provided me with a range of options and offered an excellent insight into each product. The whole process has actually been a pleasure for me and I doubt many people say that about getting a mortgage. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gavin Hughes as an entirely professional, knowledgeable and friendly advisor who demystified a complicated area of finance for me and I am also in no doubt (because I have spoken to others since) that he acquired the very best deal for my own circumstances. A first rate operator whose services I will enlist again.
