What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed a pension review as it was currently stuck not earning very much.

How has Paul Hayes helped you?

Paul took away my pension details and completed a detailed review. On his return he explained clearly and simply how he could improve my pension by switching. I received all the necessary paperwork and was left alone to read through with no pressure to do anything i did not want to do.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, I switched my pension to Paul and have seen an immediate uplift in its value

What could they have done better?

Can honestly say that this was one of the easiest transactions i have been through in my 25 years of looking for financial products. Paul is polite, punctual and does not use pushy sales techniques or pressure. If you have a question you just have to ask!

I received some inheritance that I wanted to use wisely.

Paul very quickly gained our trust, allowing us to get to know him and for him to get to know us. Paul has give us some sound advice on investments, mortgages, pensions and life assurance. He really sought to understand what was important for us and our future and immediately helped us to prioritise these things. We continue to meet with Paul and think of him as a friend... Just one we continue to ask advice from. Lovely guy and a pleasure to deal with.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes in all cases. We also opened investment ISAs, which are doing very well, but I expect these will go down as well as up in value over the long term. Therefore difficult to judge the outcome of this right now.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, Paul is great and does his best to keep on top of everything even when busy.

I was in a situation where it was going to be difficult to get a Buy to Let mortgage due to over zealous restrictions currently in place at most lenders (not the FCA).

Paul has advised us our several monetary matters from our mortgage through to life and work insurances. Paul is highly professional at all times however he is approachable and easy to communicate with. Paul's approach is really customer focused and he strived to get us the best package being flexible with changes when we needed them. When our house sale became challenging due to an outstanding probate issue, Paul went above and beyond to help us chase estate agents and solicitors during a stressful time. Paul was very comprehensive with his advice on both the mortgage and life/critical illness cover and really took the time to understand us, our financial position and what would be the most appropriate cover. When providers came back with questions or requiring further information, Paul kept is up to date straight away and explained what was required. If anything changed or he felt we needed to look elsewhere for better value he would advise us immediately. Paul did a great overall job and we are very happy either the cover we now have.

Nothing comes to mind, we were very happy with the service Paul provided even with the countless delays we experienced which was out of his hands and due to medical reasons.

After initially contacting Paul, we found him friendly and down to earth in his approach. After the initial phone call, Paul arranged to visit us in the evening (Paul was very accommodating to the fact we had children) and we were able to talk about the specifics of what we wanted. He listened and provided a wealth of options for us! He really knew his stuff and I felt very comfortable in his presence. Paul didn't put any pressure on us, merely provided us with the facts and let us make our own informed decisions. After deciding the type of mortgage and life cover we required, Paul worked tirelessly to achieve what we asked him to do. Paul stayed in regular contact with us and worked extremely hard to follow up on queries and keep us in the loop. I plan to use Paul again in the future.
