Mr Aslett is a very helpful advisor, he will go back over information which is not clear and appears to take great pride in making te investments perform well.

More regular hard copy feed back on how investments are performing currently only twice per year

How has Daniel Aslett helped you?

I have not compared Mr Aslett's fees against other advisors but he has pointed out other firm's charges. Mr Aslett is very approachable and, when visiting, spends all the time necessary in explaining matters. He goes out of his way to make himself available. His advice, so far, has been very good.

How has Daniel Aslett helped you?

Daniel presents himself in a pleasant & unassuming manner. His financial presentations are impressive, in which Daniel is able to revise in accordance with the client's wishes. Once agreed the client is able to upload their financial investment in order to keep the investment under review. This is underpinned with regular Investment Portfolio Summaries, 6-monthly half year statements & an annual review meeting with Daniel.

What could they have done better?

It is still rather early days regarding my my investment with Equitas & to date I do not have further comments.

Daniel shows a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of financial planning, and is able to explain matters clearly to our satisfaction. He is patient and understanding and has managed our financial affairs extremely well. He is easily contactable and prompt in responding to our calls when required.

We have not found fault with Daniel, nor cause for criticism.

One of the key elements of having a personal Financial Adviser, is that you trust them! In all my dealings with Dan which has spanned over many years, I have never had reason to doubt his extensive knowledge and advice and have always been very grateful for the time he has spent explaining the various investment vehicles which would be of benefit to me and my situation. We have regular reviews and I am able at any time, to view my investments on line, but Dan is always at the end of the phone if required and very approachable, which is another reason why I am very happy with the service I receive from Equitas and would highly recommend them as a professional Financial Advice company.

Daniel visits me iat the times that best suits me, he takes the time to listen to all of my wishes & concerns, explaines all of the good/risks of each option, then allows me time to consider these. When I am ready we complete the paperwork. I am very pleased with the returns I have had since Daniels advice.

Daniel is easy to contact and will spend as long as we need to explain things. He advises us of any changes in our portfolio. In the past we have had very poor service from our previous advisors, who were with a bank, and they kept changing personnel . With Daniel he is the man we speak to and see every time we need to and so don't have to explain our circumstances to a stranger each time. Daniel is not only our financial advisor but a very personable character.

What could they have done better?

As we are still in the fairly early stages of our relationship it is hard to find fault. The only reason we have not given excellent for value for money is that it is probably too early to tell.

Dan is always willing to travel to meet on a face to face basis. He thoroughly explains his recommendations , the risks and potential downsides as well as the potential gains and never concludes a deal until he is satisfied that the client fully understands all the implications. Once an investment is made, he continues to monitor performance closely and makes necessary amendments if that is part of his agreement with the client Now that I am retired,he is gently drawing my attention to inheritance tax planning to provoke my thinking and to make me aware of possible courses of action. He knows it is a little early for me but he preparing me , knowing that there is no immediate deal. I appreciate being informed over a period of time , rather than being presented with a form to sign without time to consider.

What could they have done better?

I have thought about this because I know that Dan would value constructive criticism. However I trust Dan to manage all my financial investments and I have not been disappointed. He provides a personal, responsive service which has met my needs and produced a good return. This has helped me to enjoy retirement. I do not think that I could ask for more
