Spent quite a time on the phone asking about my financial circumstances and my plan to retire early. A few days later received a generalised plan on what steps to take. Will probably arrange a meeting to discuss it in more detail.

How has Nick McBreen helped you?

We were about to retire and Nick helped us with our financial planning which included our pensions and general management of our life savings. We now appreciate his annual visit which gives us a chance to review our finances in the light of new legislation, and this helps us plan for future eventualities. Nick has advised us about giving money to our children, and we hope in due course they will maintain the family link with Nick and his company. We follow his advice but he understands that sometimes we want to follow our own financial whims. Nick has a most pleasant manner and our meetings are friendly but professional.

We are very happy with and his approach and have no wish to change anything

Communicates well. Explains things simply. Replies immediately to any questions. Has given excellent advice bearing in mind our attitude to "risk". Takes an interest in our family affairs so that he has an all round picture.
