My retirement took place with many financial management issues. I have several pensions and savings accounts that required expert assistance.

How has Matt Tilley helped you?

Very happy with how Matt helped me resolve lots of questions and look forward to a long term engagement. Will be recommending his services to others.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The early signs are very good.......I am confident that we are heading in the right direction.

What could they have done better?

I have no comparison to say how much better Matt could have presented the portfolio we adopted. He is the consummate professional and his approach has been very satisfactory thus far. If I had one criticism of the process is the huge amount of paperwork involved. Very large documents with acres of writing. If this could be reduced and the security of the product/client maintained I am sure we would all be a lot happier.

I wanted to build finance security when I retired.

How has Matt Tilley helped you?

From the beginning Matt has been tremendous in his advice and knowledge and has achieved financial security for me. I recently had a family crisis and asked Matt to visit me and check if my plans were correct. Because of his patient listening manner and knowledgeable advice he helped not only to solve this crisis but actually made family situation better.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Financially I am better off which I am very grateful to Matt. Not only in Investments , which have done well, but in personal matters he has been a wonderful help and adviser.

What could they have done better?

I honestly cannot think of anything Matt cold do better, Investments doing well, his advise has been invaluable, perhaps I could say that I wish he would visit every week !!!

“Matt is a very personable young man who steered me through advice on pensions. He went over and above his remit by liaising with my solicitor (and quite frankly getting the answers about the pension transfer that my solicitor failed to get!) Having a financial adviser was not what I envisaged, but due to a divorce, it was a necessity. Matt put me at ease instantly.”

Never felt pressurised at any time to make a decision due to the need for Matt to attend another customer visit. Matt explains things and takes time to explain, never rushes me or wanting to get me to sign. But best of all, Matt listens. I don't fully understand about money matters and until meeting Matt I was nervous to discuss with anyone. But because of his sensitive and friendly approach I have no problem in contacting him for advise and actually enjoy meeting with him. Always arrives as planned. What does matt do well? My Investments have made money.

What could they have done better?

To be truthful, I cannot make any comments on what he can do better. I'm very happy as things are.

Mr Tilley is very personable and has a good grasp of risk assessment and application of this on a personal level.

What could they have done better?

Mr Tilley did forget that I had some thoughts of paying charges up front rather than out of my ISA fund. In fairness he would have arranged this if it had been important enough to me and he had advised me of the fact this would maintain my tax free capital in the first place.
