What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

Needed to change from a Limited Company to Sole Trader Needed Self Assessment Needed retrospective tax refund from previous employment.

How has Diane Meynell helped you?

Fully understood requirements and how to achieve them. Gave excellent advice and took away the niggling feeling of not having done something right, avoiding sleepless nights!.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Definitely. Gained tax owed to me which I would never have achieved by myself. Simplified systems and made them future proof.

Nothing. Very pleased with the whole process and outcome.

Diane entered my life like Mary Poppins. She was professional, efficient and engaging at a very difficult time. Diane gathered the information required and very quickly submitted my tax return. I was embarrassed to show my jumble of paperwork but Diane was unfazed and non-judgemental.

It's great to have an accountant like Diane who is really easy to talk to, yet at the same time is highly professional and efficient in her service provision. She is always extremely prompt at responding to any queries that have arisen during my time with her. Not just that, but she's kept me informed of forthcoming changes to legislation pertaining to my business, allowing me to take full advantage of new provisions introduced by the Tax office. I have a small business, and from the onset Diane. Has been very helpful. She gave me advice on the kind of bookkeeping required, stated exactly how her role could help me and gave me a choice of how much input I wanted her to have. She gave me ideas on how to grow my business including named contacts who could help me and other local resources available. When it came to the end of the tax year Diane came to my house to show me how to account for certain transactions and demonstrated how to send e-documents to her. The return was completed promptly and fully explained. All of this has been done in a friendly manner and with great patience. I have already recommended her services to another small business owner.

What could they have done better?

I may be naive where accountants are concerned but I can honestly think of nothing that Diane could have done better.

Miss meynell has been looking after my buisiness accounts for the last two years, an I have to say that everything that I have asked of her has never been a problem , very efficient professional and accurate. Compared to some accountants I've had over the years , Diane is a credit to her profession and I would recommend her to any one who needs there accounts looked after quickly with no fuss an no massive bill at the end.since using Diane I have introduced her to many friends who have all been very satisfied with the service provided.
