Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Jonathan

I was very pleased with the response from Mr Freeman. He was quick to get in touch with me. He was very clear in describing the services he could offer that were appropriate to my situation. He was also very personable in his communication, whilst at the same time coming across as entirely professional. I made an initial appointment; the only drawback is that he is located some 10 miles from my home address and ideally I had hoped to find an accountant in my home town, Kettering.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

Increased work flow and expenditure.

How has Jonathan Freeman helped you?

Jonathan Freeman has help me get a proper grasp of bookkeeping and accounts and has helped me get a better control of my cash flow for my business. Everything is explained thouroughly and in a manner which I could easily understand and in a very friendly and relaxing manner.

Yes and superseded.

Nothing could have been done better, Accounts are no longer a chore for me.

We bought a cattery and Freeman and co were the accountants and we carried on using them.

He has advised us since we bought the cattery in 2010 and is always willing to help us with anything he can regarding our financial situation.

I have been with Jonathan at Freeman & Co for the last 7 years. He was recommended to me by a friend when I was a small sole trader. He has supported and guided me through all areas of my business and now I am a limited, growing company.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

When I became self-employed I decided to look for an accountant to help me keep my books in order and make my business more efficient.

How has Jonathan Freeman helped you?

Jonathan understood exactly what stage of the business I was at and was able to advise me how to proceed, he also provided one to one accountancy advice which was reassuring to a 'newby' self-employed person.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The service has been and continues to be excellent and in addition to my accountancy services Jonathan continues to look for specific areas or opportunities in my line of work (art) which might help me progress and diversify the business.

What could they have done better?

I don't have any 'could have done better' comments to make, but having such good contact with Jonathan enables me to make any suggestions easily and without hesitation.

We had a meeting with Jonathan, told him about our business and what we wanted. Jonathan gave us various option and explained what our options were. It was immediately apparent that Jonathan was easy to talk to and he explained everything very clearly. Getting good advise at the start of setting up our business was important to us.

I was just setting out on a freelance career and needed someone to help me negotiate the business of keeping accounts and records, paying tax efficiently and keeping up with legal changes.

Jonathan was extremely helpful, explaining everything in terms I could understand. My self assessment was completed very quickly and efficiently, with a very unexpected repayment of some of the previous years tax, which was a very welcome outcome.
