Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Kevin

Kevin is helping with advice regarding the possible transfer out of my present defined benefits pension scheme. He's very clear about his advice, in that the starting point is to stay in the protected environment of the DB scheme. However, during our discussions, it became clear that there were a number of benefits to me, in the mid to long term in considering moving out of the scheme. Kevin and his team are presently putting together an information pack that will enable me to decide whether to keep things as they are or transfer out of the scheme into a new investment plan that would provide the flexible access that I would certainly need in the mid term due to my ill health considerations.

I had to finish work early due to terminal illness and needed to draw on my pension.

How has Kevin O'Neill helped you?

Kevin was absolutely superb in understanding when I needed access to my pensions and the timescales as I needed to finish work early due to terminal illness and get access to my pensions. Kevin was with me all the way on a personal and professional level and advising me accordingly in what was happening with my pensions. The outcome was fantastic and that was due to Kevins due diligence in getting my pensions sorted for me considering I have a terminal illness and he understood my requirements as I needed my pensions quickly.

I had several smaller private pensions and wished to have them all in one pot so I only had one company to deal with as I was approching 55 and wanted to take my 25% tax free lump sum.

Kevin was recommended to me by a friend, and since he was a Chartered Financial Adviser, I did the right thing in speaking to him.
