What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Being business owners we needed expert advice on how to best rationalise all our assets. Advice on pensions and how to save for future relating to our personal circumstances and attitude to risk along with long term views regarding inheritance planning was needed.

How has Andy Palmer helped you?

Through spending time with us he was able to understand of our current position and our future needs. Andy responded to all of our many questions always explaining fully the possible outcomes of his proposals. A final plan was arrived at that allowed a flexible manged portfolio in line with our requirements. Andy provided an easy guide through the world of complex financial jargon making it as easy to understand.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

It is early days but we know can see that our position is much more stable than it was. We have a solid plan moving forward with products that are flexible to accommodate both the business and personnel aspects of our portfolio.

What could they have done better?

Andy spent a lot of time running through what was a complex financial situation. We do not see how he could have improved on his performance.

We needed to remortgage our property as we had been on a variable rate for >3 years and also to gain financial advice in relation to planning for the future.

Andy has been incredible find for us in terms of his knowledge, experience and his personal approach. He took the time to listen and understand exactly what we were looking for and then guided us to make the right decisions in terms of remortgaging, insurance and future planning.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, our remortage resulted in a lower interest rate, debt consolidation and a clear plan to clear our mortage within the next 7 years. Andy has also started to get us thinking about inheritenace planning for the future. Although we initially approached Andy for a short term action, but based on our experience we will be retaining Andy services for the long term.
