What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

wanted to get my pensions from previous workplaces sorted and in one place and to also start to make a monthly contribution ready for my retirement.

How has Andrew Payne helped you?

obtained all my previous pension plan information, explained service I could expect from him and St. James's Place and arranged for my pensions to be moved once I had made the decision to go ahead and also easily set up my direct debit

yes. My pensions are now in one place, I receive regular updates from St. James's Place and Andrew and have online access to my account to see value etc

What could they have done better?

nothing. Andrew explained everything simply and transfer process was smooth. I have since set up an ISA with St. James's Place with Andrew as happy with service and advice given.

To amalgamate all my pensions into one place for ease and a better investment. Since completing this with Andrew I have taken out a stocks and shares ISA also as another means of saving for my retirement.

Good advice. Advised the best options for me. Welcomed and trust his advice. Even in moments I had thought about cancelling it all due to the current state of the market, share prices and the war in Ukraine. The sound advice given meant I stayed and things are picking up and on track making money.

It’s starting to look a bit better now things are Yes improving month on month as things pick up. . I’m only 3 years in and agreed 5 to see where we are at that point. Still better than any bank interest I would achieve.

Nothing it’s the same for everyone, more just hold tight and hope things improve.

Andrew has always been there for me. Initially Andrew came and we discussed my best options to invest my money. Andrew as always kept me updated of change and is always on the end of a phone to discuss any change in my money needs. Andrew and I always meet face to face at Least once a year

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

It became increasingly more difficult to speak to a person where our pensions were held, and difficult to hold a face to face meeting at our Bank. I looked for a financial advisor and now have meetings face to face, and speak to Andrew on the phone.

He came out to see us in our home to discuss our wants and needs. He gave us information and advise on our pensions and investments. He explained Annual Management Charges and anything we did not understand and now we are better informed in all aspects.
