What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had savings of my own and an inheritance amount, which I wanted to make work harder for me - I had no idea where to start. Naomi walked me through the options and explained everything along the way in an easy-to-digest way - it did not take long to take action and achieve what I wanted.

I was concerned that I had my private pension in the wrong company so initially needed advice for this

Naomi has met with me twice. She has explained pros and cons thoroughly. She is approachable and very efficient. She is in the process of moving my pension without pressuring me. She also got a State pension forecast done for me and advised re savings (again not pressuring as to who I invested with,). Also asked about if I had a Will and Power of Attorney in place. She has put my mind as rest that I will be ok in my old age.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had many pensions scattered across different workplace pensions schemes and I had enrolled on a new pension that I did not understand. Both my husband and I had never had a financial adviser before and were looking to understand our financial position better and for the first time we wanted to think about savings and how to plan for the future.

How has Naomi Haynes helped you?

Naomi patiently researched all my different schemes and tiny pots of pensions and gave me sound advice on what they all meant and how best to deal with them. She was practical and helpful and did not patronise me despite my lack of understanding of some very basic aspects of pensions. She listened to our concerns, gave us lots of time and space to think and most importantly, she sorted out my pensions.

To consolidate my pensions and feel as if I had a better understanding of them and my new workplace pension.

Despite be a qualified accountant, I had no plan or structure to my financial planning and I also had no energy to deal with it properly myself.

Naomi has helped me consolidated my pensions and ISAs and pivoted them to Funds which I had not previously invested in. She has established a strategy for what, where and when to investment my savings. Naomi has also opened up new methods of investments that suit my attitude to risk, planned for the timing of key tax payments and set up insurance & protection covers.

I'm self-employed and realised that I need to think about my future, as I only have a state pension. So after having some great conversations with Naomi, she explained the options and benefits of having a pension. I agreed and she helped me to get a very good pension together that works for me. In addition, she also helped me to get income protection in place, so at least my pension is covered and my income if I get ill and can't work.

I needed help in with my existing pension policies as well all wanting advice about setting up a pension for my son.

How has Naomi Haynes helped you?

Naomi contacted my existing pension providers for me, found out what was in each pot and then gave me advice on consolidating my existing pensions. She also helped me to set up a pension for my son.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes I am very pleased that I now feel in control of my pension (it had previously sat for years doing nothing, as it wasn't reviewed) as I know that I will be frequently reviewed to ensure that it is working at it's best for me. My son now has a pension that he can take over payments for once he is working.

Unexpected personal circumstances have led me to revaluate my finances. I need to work out how to provide for my future with limited savings and a low salary. Needed advice about my pension and insurance protection.

How has Naomi Haynes helped you?

Naomi was extremely helpful with a very direct and honest approach. I was able to understand her advice with little prior knowledge. This provided me with enough information to start maximising my pension and savings in the future. I was also able to discuss the benefits of an insurance policy that Naomi was already very familiar with. Not yet because we are just beginning our journey but I'm sure that I will in the future.

I found my initial meeting with Naomi extremely valuable and informative. I wasn't sure if this service would be relevant for me because I have limited savings and a low income but it was. Naomi was very honest and helpful in an accessible, direct way. This was helpful to me as I have little knowledge about pensions or other savings options. I feel reassured that I can now begin to sort out my finances to ensure that I will have enough in the future; despite my low salary. I would wholeheartedly recommend others to also benefit from this service; especially if you find yourself in unexpected, challenging financial circumstances.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We had unusual circumstances and an unusual property we were trying to find a mortgage on. We had been to two other mortgage brokers and other providers directly, but they were unable to help us. I recalled that St James Place had a good reputation and looked on their website for our local advisor.

How has Naomi Haynes helped you?

Naomi exceeded all of our expectations in her diligence, thoroughness and service levels. For days she tirelessly campaigned on our behalf with multiple niche building societies. She prepared our figures and case with incredible attention to detail, and she gave us excellent advice. She was available at all times of the day and even over the weekend due to the time-sensitive nature of our situation. She was a pleasure to deal with and we felt she really cared about our needs.

We are currently looking to relocate with the whole family and want a multi person mortgage.

Naomi worked so hard for me and my family to find us lots of different mortgage providers to help with our situation as we are in a unique situation. I was interested in getting a full financial review to check how good my current financial position is with regards to savings, mortgage potential and retirement planning, particularly to ensure I am on the right track with my pension.

Naomi talked me through the positives of my financial situation and what improvements could be made. She immediately moved me onto a much better income protection plan and took time investigating my pension situation before suggesting how it could be improved.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

For the last 2-3 years I had been wanting to take a more proactive role in managing my ISAs and pension fund which had had no active management for many years. They were not growing as well as I had hoped for. I also wanted to have more of a say in the sort of funds I I invested in. I reached out to a couple of advisors before meeting Naomi and deciding to work with her.

How has Naomi Haynes helped you?

Naomi is an excellent Financial Advisor. In the first meeting, she asked really good questions about my investment appetite and goals which helped me figure out the kind of funds I wanted to invest in. She is clear & transparent in her communications and always encourages me to ask questions. I have not had such in-depth discussions about my financial goals with any other advisor. In subsequent meetings we honed my investment strategy and she helped me build a portfolio that I am excited about. She is very organised and thorough in her work and prompt in follow up and delivery of service. She is also a lovely person, so genuine and committed to helping her clients. I look forward to my meetings with her.

I have only recently started working with Naomi and have achieved the first outcome of taking control of my investments. With Naomi's support, my investments will be more actively managed which is the second outcome I was looking for. The third which is to grow my investments, I will know about in the future.
