The reason that caused me to look for a financial adviser was that I was made redundant from Npower in 2010 at the age of 57. I became a full time carer for my mother who was diagnosed with dementia within weeks of me finishing work. As I was only 57 years old I have to get financial affairs in order for my future.

How has Steve Proctor helped you?

Steve helped me on ways to invest the redundancy and lump sum I received from Npower. He also advised me on ways of also investing money that I had in bank accounts and the Prudential.

I have a AXA Elevate investment which I can monitor on line at anytime. This gives me the opportunity to monitor my investment. As of today the 12th February, the financial markets as they are at present it would be easy to say that I could possibly have a better investment. Be as Steve as pointed out a number of times my investment can go down as well as up and the money is invested for my long term future. Through talking to me and carrying tests Steve knows the level of risk I was prepared to take.

What could they have done better?

It would be hard to find any constructive argument that he could have given any better advise on my investment at the present moment in time. As he is based in Sheffield and I live in Bradford, he has always made home visit for regular reviews of my investments and later investments I have made since 2010.
