The company (Anderson Wealth Management) were excellent throughout the re-mortgaging process despite us having issues with 3rd party companies. Staff were always on the other end of the phone when we had any queries and were exceptionally helpful in chasing up this other company we all had to rely on. I cannot fault their service at all. A big thankyou to Stuart, Emma and John Anderson.

Yes. Without their help I am under no illusion that dealing with this other 3rd party company would of dragged on much longer

Joe took a great deal of time to go through all of my options, including some I had not considered. He explained, in very clear and relatable terms, what the pros and cons were of each option and how to combine different approaches. Joe always takes into consideration my personal feelings on risk and my hitherto limited knowledge of approaches such as wealth leveraging. Moving to a new home that required a new life insurance policy, critical illness cover and the addition of including cover for both my children.

How has Joe Anderson helped you?

Advised on my own personal life insurance cover and critical illness cover, also passed me on to another colleague within the firm to help with Trust documents for my children. Joe was very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking for a tax efficient manner in which to invest a large lump sum as well as make routine investments over a 20+ year period. After being let down by a large national financial institution (SJP), I looked for a local, family-orientated financial advisor and Joe has so far absolutely delivered: arriving exactly on time, catering for my needs and promptly following up our appointment with a detailed analysis of my requirements.

How has Joe Anderson helped you?

Joe ably steered me through some of the complexities of taxation regulations for investments and savings as well as the range of options available for large lump sum investments. He explained everything in detail and his follow up report was very clear and catered for my requirements. Importantly, Joe's experience exposed me to investment considerations that I had not previously envisioned that were by far the better options for my needs.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I was very happy with the advice and report received which enabled me to reconsider my previous assumptions on the best way to invest a large lump sum in a tax efficient manner. As a result my initial investment will be considerably higher than if I had pursued my previous course of action. So, overall very happy at this stage and ready to invest for the longterm with the peace of mind that I am doing so based on the best information and analysis available to me at the time.

Joe was incredibly generous with his time, expertise and patience in helping me to find the most suitable mortgage and insurance products. He spent a lot of time to scope out our requirements and really understand our financial circumstances to ensure that we would be comfortable in paying back our mortgage over the years. As this was the first time either of us had bought a property, Joe was very patient in dealing with the multitude of questions which we threw at him & was very kind to explain very simple concepts that we just weren't familiar with. Most importantly, Joe found us a mortgage that we're comfortable in paying back & we fully understand the process and product that we've bought.

Yes. We were both very happy with the outcome of Joe's support, he shared all the relevant documents that were required and took a lot of the leg work out of the application process by doing this on our behalf. We wouldn't have been able to access the particular mortgage that we took out without going through Joe, so we are very grateful for his efforts.

What could they have done better?

I would like to have been offered other areas of financial support outside of a mortgage. Currently, the industry as a whole feels very product driven and there are few initiatives to stitch together your whole financial world. This is more a failing on the industry than Joe's level of support as he did ask me whether I needed other areas of support. I just would like to see the industry shift from this old fashioned / super high earner / somewhat intimidating landscape to adjust to support young professionals who may not meet their minimum wealth levels currently but will do in coming years.
