The circumstances centred around a rather messy pension situation for us both. We had numerous pensions that were in desperate need of collation and assessment of performance

Effectively gave a robust and productive solution to the above issue (pension collation). It greatly simplified our situation, gave clarity of out turn and gave other financial advice whilst doing so.

Simply, yes.

What could they have done better?

Nothing that we can recall. James has always been a first rate communicator, has a balanced view on our life style and doesn't press to put every last penny of disposable income into pensions. We really appreciate this approach and if it hadn't been taken would have left us feeling more negative about our journey with James.

James reviewed my assets/ liabilities, current and projected income and expenditure to provide an analysis of my financial future, based on the expectations I had for retirement.

Yes I have. James and I had several meetings due to the complexity of my affairs. Over the last two years, we have had regular reviews and updates, where I have felt they are needed. Although it is early days, the recommended Pension investment has also performed well.

James ensured privacy was given to enable our conversations and the meeting was professionally managed and conducted. I didn't feel under any pressure to make a decision and James very quickly understood my financial situation and future needs. Receipt of money from may mother's estate following her death. I had no experience of investment and needed advice on the achieving the most efficient tax benefits.
