Andy worked out I like high risk investments and came back with a set of 6 funds offering a mix of security and higher risk specialist funds. It met my requirements and I wanted a portal to access everything at the same time.

1) Approaching late 30's and having no grasp of personal financial status or how to prepare financially for retirement. 2) Feeling that my pension contributions via my employment were not being handled in my best interest. 3) having stock investments abroad that I wanted to consolidate and move to the UK stock market. 4) Needing advice on short term and long term savings.

How has Andrew O'Byrne helped you?

Over the course of a few months we discussed my current financial situation and spoke in great detail about what a more secure financial situation would look like and how to start building up a solid investment plan. Andrew took great care to explain a lot of finance jargon and to educate me about how ISAs and workplace pensions work and the sorts of advantages and disadvantages of various personal financial strategies. Andrew has helped me build a bespoke adventurous portfolio with a sustainable strategy for my investments, and although the understanding is that they are long term investments that will not need tinkering on a regular basis and that the portfolio needs time to mature, I have the confidence that he monitors its performance regularly, and he stays in touch with me for regular conversations about the performance of my portfolio and other market trends that I might want to consider.

At this stage, 1year in, I would say yes, although I do rely on Andrew to remind me of what I should be expecting of my investments and how I could push for greater outcomes.

I arrived at a point in life where I wanted to reduce my working hours and make best use of my occupational pension, as well as my wife's and my other savings / investments. We knew that we needed some professional help and support with this.

I sought Andrew's advice during the Covid 19 pandemic. It has been a difficult time for investors but has also presented some unique opportunities. Whilst I would not call myself a novice I have found Andrew's approach to be most helpful. He has a wealth of experience from his previous hedge fund role. Getting investing right is difficult but can make a real difference to the retirement you want. Thoroughly recommend.

Andrew has been an important source of financial advice for me for an extended period of time. He has always shown himself to provide valuable insights and is a person of the highest integrity. Personally I change my mind a lot, which is a real contrast to Andrew, who as a rule has counseled consistency and a focus on long term objectives. I cannot recommend him enough.
