What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an equity release adviser?

Jemma was recommended to me as a mortgage advisor.

How has Jemma Sheasby helped you?

Jemma advised me on the best mortgage options for my circumstances over a period of 4 years. It took a long time for me to find the right property as I had to pull out of a few sales due to the home survey report. Jemma not only provided information on mortgages but was a great support during times when I got a bit despondent after having had to pull out of various sales.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. By the time I found the property that I subsequently bought, mortgage rates went through the roof so after having told Jemma what monthly amount I wanted to pay, she found the best option. Moreover, as rates were so erratic during the time the sale was going through Jemma kept her eye on the rates and managed to ensure that I benefitted from two rate reductions thereby saving me £125 on the final monthly payment.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. As a mortgage advisor Jemma is fantastic. Her knowledge, experience and caring nature are all the things you need especially if you don't have much experience in buying a home. Over four years, I got to know her well and she is just a fantastic person who genuinely cares about her clients. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Although NOT equity release our requirement was for a Later Life Mortgage (I am age 74) which needed specialist advice and handling.

How has Jemma Sheasby helped you?

I approached Jemma from a recommendation by another mortgage broker. She quickly assessed our needs and directed us towards a product that was a perfect fit. She reviewed the market and proposed various alternatives that were competitive. All this was happening during a fast changing interest rate environment. She succeeded in securing a 5-year fixed rate mortgage at the lower rates even as rates were rising. She kept in close contact at all times with the lender and client solicitor which needed pressure and persistence in the face of their delays and at times procrastination.

We wanted to raise capital from the equity in our principal private residence to help our daughter now rather than wait until she was older. We felt the money would be more useful now than it would be when both she and her family were older. Equity Release will also reduce potential inheritance tax thus again helping our daughter financially.

We had an interest only mortgage which had come to an end and high credit card debts which we were attempting to consolidate.

How has Jemma Sheasby helped you?

Tried absolutely everywhere for a mortgage with no luck whatsoever due to high credit commitments. Along came Integrity Mortgages and sorted everything for us. Without Jemma we would now be selling our house to pay off debts and the interest only mortgage. Cannot thank you enough for getting us through this and cannot recommend enough. Fantastic!!
