Financial Planning - after my partner's death, after the sudden death of my partner, who had always managed our finances, I decided I need a my own financial planner. The person we had always used made me feel uncomfortable and had always mainly dealt with my partner.

We spoke about my future, what i wanted it to look like, now I was single. What was on my bucket list. Mainly I wanted to know if I had enough money to live on in retirement. teh graphs she showed me helped visualise what my life would look like in the future but also helped my think about money in a different way. We were unhappy with the service received by our SJP adviser and wanted to look at how and when we could look to retire.

How has Lena Patel helped you?

She talked to us about, what we were looking to achieve for us as a couple and our children. She provided us with a cash flow model, which helped us establish we could retire years earlier than we expected. We had never experienced this from our SJP Adviser whom we had been with for 20 years as a family and not returned our calls in over a year.

Yes it's really has been life changing.
