How has David Brooker helped you since your last review?

David continues to provide ongoing support and advice regarding my drawdown pension scheme in a professional, yet personal and friendly manner and I am very happy with the service he provides for me. I am regularly receiving my pension drawdown income to fully meet my current circumstances. We have discussed and agreed a number of changes to my income drawdown over time, due to changing circumstances and David processed these quickly and efficiently, providing good advice to ensure maximum benefit for me. David has maintained regular contact with me and we have completed all the scheduled reviews and meetings necessary to ensure I am on track with my Retirement account. I still find using the pension portal a little slow to get responses to questions and advice and I hope that this can be improved. Direct email correspondence or phone calls with David however are not a problem.

I had six pensions that needed combining in order to create a drawdown investment portfolio.

I had an amount of money left to me by my Aunt in her will. And I needed some advice as to the best way to invest the sum of money.

I needed to review my pension arrangements and increase my pension provision

How has David Brooker helped you?

Having carefully assessed my attitudes and views on savings and risks, he recommended I use my existing company pension to make increased contributions and secondly I invest further monies into an ISA. Without David's advice I would not have been able to research and judge the various options available. He was realistic and objective with his advice and I feel confident about the decisions I was able to make.

After only 3 months, and given world-wide stock market circumstances in 2020, there has been modest growth

I am a professional statistician who has done a lot of reading around personal finance and investment, but I still learnt a lot from David in a very short time, both from the incisive questions he asked and the constructive but balanced feedback David provided. My wife and I had savings, life insurance and pensions. I retire this year and felt was time to have a full review of our finances.

David came to see us and explained how he works then discussed what we wanted to achieve from investments etc. His knowledge and help were perfect for our requirements.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Our investments are showing a good return (market forces willing) and we are extremely confident that they will provide exactly what we hoped for.
