i had frozen pensions,wanted start new and had no idea how to transfer existing,or look at good deal.

Mr Angell took time to listen to my problem,he did not jump in with any sales pitch,he listened to my needs and explained my options,he came across as very honest, and obviously had morals, i past him all the details and he came up with what i needed, with no hidden agenda,very pleased with his services,would strongly recommend to others, very caring guy.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My finances were in a mess - I had savings earning 0.05%, pension pots stagnating and tax bills looming. I needed somebody who could look at my entire portfolio and advise on the best course of action.

How has Mathew Angell helped you?

Matt reviewed my entire portfolio and recommended a range of solutions. His advice has been exceptional and now I have a full understanding of my financial position and what I need to consider going forward. My savings are better invested and making very good returns, even taking into account the impact on the markets due to COVID.

yes and more so - I am staggered at the growth of the various investments and although I know values can go down I really cannot complain at this point in time!

What could they have done better?

it is difficult to point at anything specific because Matt has always been on hand even during this difficult period. He responds quickly to phone calls and emails.

I had pension pots and needed Finacial advise and guidance on bringing forward Possible retirement plans due to health reasons. Reasons.

How has Mathew Angell helped you?

Mathew was able to explain and guide the best way forward to achieve a Finacial plan that would enable us to have options I never have thought possible and greatly improved my choices and reduced my anxiety for the further.

Even with the impact of major world events that were unforeseen the advice given and financial plan has remained sound and still on coarse.......

After recently moving from permanent employment to working for myself I wanted to ensure I was doing the right things in terms of pension payments, savings for my kids and protection such as illness cover / will etc.

How has Mathew Angell helped you?

Matt met me for an initial (free!) consultation and pointed me in all the right directions, giving advice on SIPPs, wills, power of attorney and kid's savings. He was knowledgeable, took his time to understand my needs and provided the right level of advice.

Yes - the SIPP that he recommended seemed the best so I have taken that on, and will also be sorting the kid's savings soon!

Not much more to be honest; I had an idea that I was doing the right things before meeting with Matt, but Matt underlined them and gave me confidence I wasn't missing anything and has also replied to a couple of follow up questions I had.

I was making decisions with regard to a review of my future pension and lifestyle strategy.

How has Mathew Angell helped you?

Mathew was able to fill in a lot of the gaps from my own limited knowledge and explain in easy terms what options I had for pension planning and potential income streams. It was easy to arrange face to face appointments for discussions regarding individual reports raised that we could review together. Where I needed additional information or guidance, that was supplied too.

I am very satisfied with my outcome and feel I have been able to build up trust with Mathew as my IFA going forward.

What could they have done better?

A lot of information is set out in reports that detail projections for investments and income in the years going forward. I feel as part of the report, there could be section that explains a little more clearly what the graphs depict and offer some narrative around that.

Matthew was extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction in order to fine tune my current setup across my pension plan, mortgage and recommended areas for maximising my savings.

Not as yet, but as I only spoke to Matthew today, that is to be expected.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were anxious to protect the cash we have in a PIP which has dropped in value and wanted to explore other options.

How has Mathew Angell helped you?

He pointed out that we were paying too much in fees as the PIP is actively managed and also the portfolio wasn't spread enugh to have loses offset by gains. He suggested we looked at several companies providing stocks & shares ISAs & recommended three with lower fees & goos performance.

We have started the process of closing the PIP & will be investing in the ISAs as suggested by Matt

Having now looked at the websites that Matt suggested, it might have been helpful to look at them with him, so that some of the questions we now have could have been answered there & then.

It's early days - this was the first meeting, 3 days ago. However, advice given was very clear. No products recommended yet, apart from one and I have already followed up on Matt's suggestion to get a Monzo account and card, to better track my finances.

It would be good to have a customer version of Cashcalc - to be able to take my time, play with options and formulate questions for the next meeting.
