We were looking at our combined pensions and we needed professional advice/guidance.

How has Luke Smulders helped you?

Luke did an amazing job, he took away some facts and figures and permissions to speak to our pension holders. He returned with a cash flow modeller along with his recommendations which we took.

Yes we have.

What could they have done better?

There was nothing he could have done better. I would have no hesitation in contacting him for any other financial issues in the future.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted advice after inheriting a large estate and business. The circumstances were unexpected and due to my lack of experience and already high I needed guidance on handling my whole situation. As the situation was quite complicated I need an advisor with a good knowledge of every aspect ( inheritance, business/ corporate planning and personal pensions and tax )

How has Luke Smulders helped you?

Luke has helps me massively in the whole process explaining how I can I reduce my own income tax and helped me understand mine and my family’s business situation now and in the future. He has also put me in contact with a local solicitor and accountant that he has personally contacted for me that helped speed everything up instead of me dealing with different people.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes I have seen the results of a holistic financial planner who understands and has helped me and my family understand where we are and what our future might look like. Luke has also put in measures to help make thing easier for my pensions and the business to pass down to my children and have spoken to them about their own retirement & financial situation.

I have built up a number of pensions through working at different companies and wanted to consolidate and simplify so I have a better understanding of where my finances sit

My pension transfer was very seamless, and my investment has grown, in a very unpredictable market.

My pension is now growing, although it did decrease at some point in the year, I am on track and in 12 months it has increased above the rate of inflation.

We were looking to invest with minimum risk some funds on a medium / long term basis with a view to earning a better rate of interest than high Street banks were offering.

How has Luke Smulders helped you?

Luke initially discussed a way forward via a telephone call when he enquired as to our financial circumstances which gave us time to do some research of our own. He then followed up with a home visit and went through the necessary paperwork explaining as he went.
