I was not happy with my previous accountant so a friend of mine highly recommended Quintin.

Quintin looked through my previous account and has prepared my accounts for the last 5 years. He helped resolve the issues I had with my previous accountant and has been very professional with me for the last 4 years. He is always there if I have an enquiry.

i needed clarity on my own self assessment returns in respect to that of the company.

How has Quintin Scott helped you?

The key factor for me was Quintin explained all the points more clearly than my previous accountant had. All our conversations have involved my input and suggestion, where as before I felt I was a 'passenger' and although the accountant understood my position, I did not. So I now feel I can ask anything with the knowledge that Quintin's explanation and advice will be both accurate and relevant to my own tax position.

yes, a reimbursement of over paid tax.

What could they have done better?

In reply, nothing, I am now clear in my own mind of what is needed from me going forward and I am totally happy that should there be anything I need clarity on it is only a question away. I guess like all professional people accountants, solicitors etc have a trade dialect to some degree, and I think this is what may have tripped me up prying to meeting Quintin. Here after I know through his explanation and understanding of my own personal set up, there isn't anything I cannot ask which is most re-assuring
