What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

We have worked with Richard every year since 2016, as he was the R&D Tax adviser for an SME company we acquired in 2016. We reviewed Richard's R&D reports once we had acquired the SME and as they looked really good we decided to ask Richard to keep producing the claim and report going forward.

How has Richard Lewis helped you?

Richard does a fantastic job of liaising with the company he produces the claim for. He speaks to the technical team and gathers the relevant data and information to put together the claim and report. He then quickly produces the claim and a thorough report to support the claim. Richard has a very good understanding of the R&D legislation and whenever we ask him an unusual question he always knows the answer and can provide supporting legislation evidence.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Definitely. Every year Richard produces a fantastic report which we are happy to send to HMRC. We shall continue working with Richard as we trust his good quality work.
