Davis & Co was established in 1901. Since then Accounting has undergone a revolution. We now have a small team of partners and staff who are experienced in just about every aspect of accounting, tax and financial advice. Today there are a number of challenges for small business owners, not least their tax and financial obligations. Davis & Co, as members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, have a combined experience of over 100 years in the accounting profession, advising on areas from business start-ups, accounting, tax and investment to residency, inheritance tax and trusts. I gained my accountancy qualification in business where I designed and implemented financial and management information systems to support a wide range of businesses these included Management Consultancy, Nursing Homes and Property Development companies. I worked at Financial Director level making decision on resources, pricing and profitability producing and analysing management reports working either full or part time in a portfolio of roles at these and other companies. I moved into practice because I enjoy working with entrepreneurs and family owned businesses. My speciality is setting up reporting systems so that you can get the necessary information to fuel your decision making, preparing and reviewing business plans to support your vision and ambition for the future. Whilst I often work on adhoc business plans and reports, I am experienced at producing periodic management accounts alongside all the statutory reports such as Annual Accounts, VAT, Tax, Payroll and Personal Tax returns with support from specialists in our team. We provide the assistance needed for the compliance side of your business so you can focus on your passion and growing your business.
