As a self employed Inventory Clerk, my business was growing and I was struggling with the accounts side of things. I was looking for someone to advise me in this area and to help with my tax returns.

How has Rashid Iqbal helped you?

After making an appointment with Rashid I was welcomed into his office to discuss my business finances. My paperwork was a bit all over the place at the time and because of this I felt a little anxious but Rashid soon put my mind at ease by going over everything with me and explaining to me exactly what I was and was not entitled to. I then left all of my paperwork, receipts etc with him so that he could do the rest. Within a short period of time I was sent my tax return figures, which I agreed and he then filed. During this time Rashid always promptly replied to any emails regarding any queries that I had.

Most definitely. Rashid has a professional and easy to understand approach. I felt very well informed and more in control of my finances which was a great weight off of my shoulders. Rashid has been helping me in filing my tax assessments since 2012. Especially last year due to my home country trip, I missed my tax filing. There were some additional penalties imposed by HMRC due to some confusion over online payments. Rashid then helped me immensely in getting things sorted out with HMRC. He finally wrote a letter to HMRC describing the facts & circumstances and finally they did a refund.

I needed someone who could complete my self assessment form as things started to get a little complicated once I became a landlord and also held foreign shares. In the past I was also fined for completing the form incorrectly and didn't want that happening again.

After searching for what seemed a very long time it was recommended that I need to take a look Accounting People Ltd (Rashid Iqbal FCCA). Not only did I receive excellent service but everything was clearly explained. he always ensure that I was clear on everything, offered suggestions to help, made themselves available to suit my time (usually evenings), made sure I knew what was needed to comply with UK tax rules, and then sorted everything out with the revenue service. They were very prompt, very friendly, didn't charge extra's for the support I needed (didn't charge for meetings either). In fact they were upfront on everything and I knew from the start exactly what my costs would be… I found them outstanding, and far easier.
