What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

Wanted to change from our previous accountant Also needed a new book keeping service

How has Joanne Bell helped you?

Via Helen Atack who moved to Bell’s and who is excellent in every way. Steve the bookkeeper is also extremely helpful, diligent and good company!

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes absolutely.

What could they have done better?

An annual meeting and perhaps a chance for inheritance/ business planning

I wasn’t happy with my last accountant

How has Joanne Bell helped you?

She made the process of moving accountants effortless. I didn’t have to do anything. In the past 6 years her commitment and thoroughness and input has always been consistent.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Most definitely much more than I imagined.

What could they have done better?

I can’t think of anything. Jo has always been fast, efficient and thorough. I can’t see how she could improve anymore and she’s always going out of her way to help.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I own my own business and wanted to move to a trusted local company, plus I had met Joanne through local business meetings and knew immediately that she would be the best person to help.

How has Joanne Bell helped you?

Having had a 1 to 1 meeting to discuss transferring my paperwork over to her company, her staff are attentive if you ring them or email them, deliver my self-assessment efficiently and I have always preferred to meet who is dealing with your important paperwork! During this difficult time with the Covid-19 outbreak, Jo has been liaising with us all, working very hard to keep us informed when new items are emerging that could affect our businesses.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes; paperwork assisted with etc year, plus responses to any questions I may have in a short space of time; communication IS key and they do it well.

What could they have done better?

A minor thing would be to potentially receive a breakdown of the figures of each annual self-assessment in even simpler terms, for the likes of me to try to understand further and hopefully a few others too; I am only saying this as I can't think of anything else, as I am happy with the business being looked after by Bells Accountants.

I needed to find an accountant geographically closer to my business

She took on all the work I needed her to do and liaised with my bookkeeper at a very fair rate.

Our Lat Accountants became Stale.

Joanne came to us and explained what they do as a business and made the transfer from our old accountants over to Bells with great ease. Joanne is very easier to talk to and is very Knowledgeable.
