An excellent business that is superb for SME's. My business dealt with James Stanley & Co until we reached £20m sales per year. After that our private equity shareholders decided upon a change of accountants to deal with our larger company issues. This was in no way a reflection of the service, value or advice we had received to that date - and in some ways this might seem a strange reference as a result! I still use James Stanley and Co for my personal tax affairs and for the charity I run as a second job. They have been brilliant in their assistance and advice in both arenas and I would not hesitate to recommend them for SME work, charities or personal tax advice.

What could they have done better?

The advice is personal, friendly and seems to genuinely care. As a smaller business they are not always available to speak to you at the click of a finger but they do get back to you within a decent time period and deal with all issues.
