What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I went self employed and registered as an LTD. I had no idea what was involved with submitting returns or corporation tax and need help.

How has Shaun Vickery helped you?

Amazingly, Shaun was recommended by a friend. Initially Shaun took all the information he needed and produced my end of year accounts for self assessment and LTD.

Yes, having a trustworthy, knowledgeable and approachable accountant is a reassurance. SMV have assisted me in growing my business There is always a member of the team available to provide advise. SMV have taken countless daunting queries and issues away by dealing with them for me. I’d highly recommend,

Every business has room for improvement, but I feel the team at SMV couldn’t do more.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I wanted to up a Ltd Company and needed practical support and advice with my finances. Shaun has been our trusted family accountant for years so he came highly recommended.

How has Shaun Vickery helped you?

Shaun has helped me with everything that I needed to establish my Ltd Company and everything since then. He takes care of all the tax, payroll and other financial aspects of my business. I wouldn't be able to do it without him! Shaun is always exceptionally quick to respond to any questions that I may have, and takes care of everything without me having to worry. I would recommend him highly.

Yes, and more so. It is very reassuring to have Shaun as my accountant. He is very professional and excellent at what he does.

I started as a sole trader, as the business grew I needed an accountant.

How has Shaun Vickery helped you?

He took over the payroll, the VAT and end of year accounts. He advised me when I needed to become VAT registered and when I needed to become a Ltd company. Shaun is very down to earth and easy to speak to - he helped by having a conversation at the end of each VAT quarter - each time encouraging and acting as a sounding board for me when I needed an ear!.

Yes, the business blossomed and when, due to personal circumstances, I felt I needed to sell the business, he helped me find a buyer and really dealt with all the accountancy side of selling. He is still my accountant although I have now gone back to being a self employed pensioner!.
