What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an equity release adviser?

My financial situation was not great. I needed to repay a family member, make improvements to my home, have a holiday for the first time in 12 years and for as long as possible have some money to improve my quality of life while I still can.

Having spoken to Prab on a number of occasions, we felt very comfortable talking to him about our needs etc., and valued his advice. He was open and honest and gave sound advice on the questions we raised and we were very satisfied with the observations he made. I purchased his book for £2 and am in the middle of reading this which I find so far to be objective and constructive.

Becoming a widow and having to go back to work after retirement.
